To be fair sometimes you get THAT fan in a fan community who is very loud about their dislike of something and when people ignore them they just get louder and develop a persecution complex.

Those are the kind of people who just need to be removed from the community IMO. They're dysfunctional actors and at a certain point you just need to step in and say this place is not for you.

Yeah, sorry, I feel like I didn't write that post well (I am real tired).

What I mean more is that you can mostly assume that argument comes from shitheads and is probably not in good faith. I mean, it's an argument that inherently focuses the attention on some failure of the fans, you know? What I'm trying to say is more that you're right to hate the word, it's bad in the first place.
