So much so that I hit post too soon, oops.

ANYHOW. Haven't touched either the fandom OR trainwreck of a canon in years, but I cannot ever forget the almost universal glorying of the (either one-note or utterly evil) villains after KH2, to the point where a good portion of the fandom claimed that the Plucky Kid Hero was the ACTUAL VILLAIN...because he was taking out the organization that was trying to destroy all life in the worlds.

But OMG that was totally Donald and Goofy brainwashing Sora into thinking they were bad!

Somehow.

Nevermind that Sora's first impression of them wasn't exactly good, what with causing lots of trouble for his friends and the different worlds, or that they kept calling him another name or "traitor"*, or never giving any explanations whatsoever despite having plenty of opportunities to do so.
