It wasn't even a parody. It was a glorified remix.

The video was nothing special -- so this is just Nicki being a sore loser.

And trying to pretend she represents bigger girls and is making strides for body positivity? Please. Her body is engineered eye candy. All the "fat" is in her boobs and butt. Boo hoo.

Sampling is a lazy technique. It shouldn't be lauded.

Sampling, to me, is a little more tolerable if there's work done into making it sound like a unique musical idea. Like, "Good Feeling" by Flo Rida, while not a great song, does do something new and interesting with Etta James's vocals. "Anaconda" does nothing new with Sir Mix-a-lot.
