(Anonymous) 2015-07-28 04:23 am (UTC)(link)In the last few years I have seen more of "this is a hobby, no one has to improve if they don't want" with some extra "being self-critical is bad, just love yourself for what you do" and "concrit is rude not matter what".

It being desirable for you personally to do a thing is not the same as it being mandatory for everyone to do that same thing.
