I approve of this switch, because Shran is awesome. Not that Malcolm isn't also awesome, Shran's just ... also, he and Archer have the whole 'worthy opponent' thing going on, which I like more in a pairing than superior/subordinate.

yeah, Shran's just... *dreamy sigh*

I had this idea where Shran went to Enterprise as a diplomat or a liason with Andoria but the logical side here is pretty shaky, the whys and the hows. -_-

Ehh, it's not a popular ship which is a pity. I mean, some people would read fic for this pairing but very few actively ship it.

I admit, I initially only watched ENT for Shran in the first place. I saw the episode with him and Soval and the traitor (?), and then went back and watched all the episodes with Shran in them, and then started working my way through it slightly more logically. So I was always a bit biased towards Shran, and then Shran/Archer as a pairing (though Shran/Soval, and Shran/Soval/Archer, is also good).

I do wish there was more fic, though.

I watched ENT after watching TOS, from the first ep onward.

Shran/Soval/Archer is great, yes. I also ship it. Their interactions are never dull.
