Gothel was woobified for quite some time after Tangled came out, but eventually it died down and I don't really see it often now.

But yeah Hans has fangirls and I'm sure he always will because he is drawn to be young and attractive.

They're both terrible people, but Gothel is imo a more realistic villain and that hits home with a lot of viewers.
