Re: mods

Yes, and not just because I think everyone should make an effort to be polite. But if they get into an argument with someone, no matter how stupid or rude that person is being, the mod will always look bad and get flak if they lose their temper. Even if the other person is being a grade-A asshole, it will reflect badly on the mod in question to some degree. That's what I've seen happen, in my experience.

That said, if being a little snarky is part of their personality and they're like that with everyone, I doubt that something like "read the rules, n00b!" would be an issue.
