I'm not in the fandom, but it's entirely possible people who don't give a fuck about the character get shit for it? That'd make it secret worthy.

He's a very popular character and people had a lot of feelings over his death, but I don't think people get shit for not caring?

They don't get shit for not caring. They get shit for speaking up about not caring.

Honestly, I can't believe there are people who don't notice it. It happens in loads of fandoms. If you don't love the golden boy (well, chrome boy) enough it's as bad as hating them. It's the 8.8 effect.

I'm not in the fandom at all, but the Nux tag on tumblr was really scary last I looked so I don't doubt that people who say they didn't care about him get hate.

+1 for "chrome boy". Now I want to see a "Nux in Valhalla" cosplay where he's in silver body paint and has angel wings made out of car parts. XD

Okay? I mean, I didn't feel much either except that I liked him and it kind of sucked that he supposedly died.

Does he? I think this is the first movie I've seen him in. I didn't watch Warm Bodies, because the book was a disappointment.

Warm Bodies was actually pretty cute. Surprisingly.

I think he's adorable, but then I get this weird feeling of, "Oh my god, he's so young." when I'm reminded he was in About A Boy.

I thought he was hot in About A Boy so I feel extra creepy. Tbf, I'm only two years older than him, but still.

Same. I was way more sad about the Ace dying, especially the way he did. Nux? Meh.

Eh, I wasn't a huge fan of Nux either, but his death was pretty honorable. At least give him that.

He's terminally ill and a bit dehydrated, usually has white powder/chalk on all his skin to make him very white (so the dregs of that make the parts without white look darker/more obvious), and twice sprayed what looked like chrome spray paint (and was apparently a drug) on and in his mouth.

Also - he's in the desert, and he's been battered about a bit.
