Lidl work trousers, misc upper wear, although one of my voluntary positions gave me a branded T shirt, branded sweatshirt and branded hi-viz jacket.

Suits. Which as fun as it can be to play dress up is a serious hit to your budget when you can't buy off the rack.

Last December HR allowed us to wear jeans every day. Since apparently it's more modern to do that in a cubicle environment I guess. At first I resisted, I had only one pair of jeans and liked wearing trousers. But then as time went on, I gained a little more weight, I found wearing jeans worked better. Had to buy a few more pairs but I only wear one pair for five days in a row before they get washed. Before I had a different pair of trousers for each working day.

Of course it doesn't matter what I wear because I'm so damn cold. I have a heater on and wear a fleece jacket. In the summer. In winter I can forgo the jacket since I wear a sweater, but add a scarf. And occasionally the need for thermal underwear. I'd love to wear nice blouses or a dress to work, but not when I'm cold all the time!

A comfy uniform shirt, and comfy black pants. Shoes are a pair of sneaks or the red canvas ones that make me feel like a nineties cool kid. I make the dress code work for me.

Edit: but I so miss wearing short shorts and knee highs at my last job. I wasn't supposed to get away with that but I sure did.

Usually a skirt and a fairly modest top. I work in a call centre though, so I could wear a pair of sweat pants and a hoodie if I wanted. I've seen a lot of people wear running tights to work.

Ahaha, I'm actually sitting around in my 'uniform' right now. It's just a shirt from our store, nice black pants, and tennis shoes (welcome to retail).

Mostly in this hot weather, either dresses or skirts with shelf-bra tanks and tee over that, and either flats or sandals. Plus a hoodie, because one of the supervisors cranks the air to Arctic and it's frigging freezing in there.

In winter, flannel-lined leggings and big sweaters and boots. And a hoodie.

White collared top (I favor short-sleeved polos for comfort, but I have a couple of button-downs if I want to look nice), and anything knee-length or longer in navy, black, or khaki (usually a nice pair of jeans). Basic black work shoes. Aaaaand a green apron! Yay Jo-Ann.
