(Anonymous) 2015-08-02 01:30 am (UTC)(link)Hard to tell from the polls which provinces will flip, they're swinging back and forth almost daily. Most of the "Get out the vote" orgs are pushing for strategic voting, which. Isn't that what gave the Tories the majority the last time? Isn't that what gave the Tories in Britain the majority this time? Voters were trying to dump them, but split the left instead.
I personally think the NDP are going to lose way more seats in Quebec than they're expecting. Hopefully to the Bloc, though thanks to the nuttiness with the "Secular" Charter (note my sarcasm) the BQ is the lesser of two evils right now, IMO. The BQ did well by the country when they were the Opposition, even if they wanted to rip the country in half LOL. The Bloc was a good backstop to the Liberal majority getting too out of control, because even though they didn't have voting power to stop the Grits from doing whatever they wanted, Chretien and even Martin knew they had to make nice at some point because, hello, referendum much?
