I do want to say that I think you should take a long hard look at your idea that your way is The Only correct way to interpret things and everyone else is objectively Wrong. Unless Word of God comes right out and says one idea is right and the others are wrong then most fan interpretations are going to be equally Right.

Like... there's a scene in Age of Ultron where (SPOILERS) Pietro, who has spent all movie carrying Wanda around bridal style with his super-speed, promises to come back for her and then dies. Wanda feels it, Wands goes berserk, and then Wanda waits for death.

And Vision comes in with super-speed and reaches her and scoops her up the exact same way her brother always did. And she automatically puts her arm around his shoulders and looks up and there's just a moment of hope and joy in her eyes.

And I've seen SO MANY fans go on and on about how romantic that was, that she was hopeless and Vision rescued her and gave her hope and they're going to get married and have a zillion babies and it was so beautiful.

I thought it was the saddest scene in the whole dang movie because obviously for just a moment she thought her brother had kept his promise and managed to come back for her.

And unless someone asks the people involved if they meant for it to be romantic since Vision and Wanda are married in the comics, or if they meant for it to be heartbreaking because she thought Vision was Pietro for a moment, both are equally valid points of view.
