I think so? IIRC there was something about Harry having to change in appearance on his 16th(?) birthday. At least all the Severitus fics I recall did something along those lines.

(OTOH if Snape is Harry's dad, it doesn't really make much sense for him to be James' spitting image. So it could be coincidence I guess, I'm not 100% sure.)

This is all coming back to me despite the fact I never got into Severitus. I def remember the spell thing and him changing on his birthday.
