There is no actual evidence that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute, it's just a popular interpretation of her character that a lot of people have accepted as canon.

I was thinking of Jesus Christ Superstar mostly because that's my favorite Jesus, in which it is pretty clear she's probably was prostitute. In the Bible, though, yeah. She may or may not have been but I'm okay with co-opting popular headcanon for my shitty joke post.
