I feel like that's pretty reasonable? If they seem like a nice, likable person and you grow fond of them (Even in a distant way) then of course you wouldn't want to see them fuck up and say or do something that upsets or offends you.

But yea, like you said, celebs are people too and everyone makes mistakes, it's just some mistakes are bigger than others (And harder to forget or forgive).

Really, as long as they're in the spotlight... Something will eventually happen, even if it isn't that noteworthy or offensive.
