I feel like that's pretty reasonable? If they seem like a nice, likable person and you grow fond of them (Even in a distant way) then of course you wouldn't want to see them fuck up and say or do something that upsets or offends you.

But yea, like you said, celebs are people too and everyone makes mistakes, it's just some mistakes are bigger than others (And harder to forget or forgive).

Really, as long as they're in the spotlight... Something will eventually happen, even if it isn't that noteworthy or offensive.

I can see Bioware having you date someone in an open relationship (wasn't that Kelly's schtick, actually?) But I can't see them doing a well-written romance where three people are all involved with each other. I think they'd turn it into some kind of power fantasy about having two people hanging off you.

But, yeah, I do kind of always wonder - if the failure of some piece of media created by or featuring the presence of some PoC to be nominated for or win some award is indicative of racism or sexism, then what does it indicate when some PoC media wins an award? Either award nominations and wins are a meaningful indicator in re: racism, or they're not.
