It sucks being a tiny minority sometimes. It would helped if people didn't kneejerk mock the anger/threat/hurt as manufactured cuz they don't see it. Cuz I wanna be a fan too.

If you are that easily offended it is your own problem, not everyone else's. I wish people would stop trying to tear down others who enjoying themselves just because they themselves are offended by something. Just stay in your lane and stop trying to make it everyone else's problem.

I often wonder why these people even go onto the internet if they only get freaked out that there a bunch of different people with different tastes and opinions, and then feel they have any say in what others are doing in their chill time.

Don't ask people to censor themselves for you, just stay away from the internet and other people all together if it's really that bad for you.

I was referring to feeling threatened/hurt/angry at bigotry in the source material. Your default assumption that that makes me "easily offended" is all in your head.
