Anna Akana! Actress, YouTuber, podcaster, other stuff-er? Was apparently in Ant-Man but I didn't see it so idk who she was there.

I found out about her 2 days ago while browsing Patreon.

The only work of hers I watched were the Women Can Be Dicks Too sketch (not well-executed IMO) and the Grrl Scouts trailer (was that what it's called idk the humour didn't interest me). I rolled my eyes at the thumbnails and titles of some of her other videos.

I have no opinion on her "as a geek" because I haven't bothered to do more research.

When I see pretty celebrity "geek girls", I get sour grapes sometimes. Then I think, if I won the genetic lottery and had the personality traits and networking skills to be famous, would my geek cred stand to scrutiny? No, I'm a bad subject for this scenario in the first place because I hardly have any. But if I did, I imagine the sceptics wouldn't quit, because that's how it is.
