A few comments prior in this thread has someone calling Danny from New Tricks a Mary Sue and with second agreeing, so I'm guessing Mary Sue is pretty gender equal now.

Are you the same person in this thread and on the first secret who keeps bringing up teh menz? I'm pretty sure yes, we all agree Gary Stus exist. But we're talking about Sues right now.

If someone calls a male character a "Mary Sue", it can be taken as a given that they are a Gary Stu, as that is the male version.
