Hang on, I though the thing that stopped mansplaining from being a gendered insult was that it was a male behaviour?

Like the way it was explained to me is that it's not just using the word man as a synonym for something bad, it's when men explain an issue only women can understand therefore it is a phenomenon that only men are capable of and so assigning it to men is not sexist.

This new usage would mean that it's something bad anyone can do, bust since men are dickheads, we'll call it mansplaining.
