Well he has done some stupid shit and has a court date that keeps getting pushed back, I can't remember if it's for pepper spraying an employee at either Walmart or GameStop or for vandalizing I think it was an Xbox One or a Sonic Boom display. He has a shitty background but he chose to that stuff.

Also many of the people who follow him think he turned transgendered in an effort to still find a girlfriend and just thought that being a girl would do it... there has been no confirmation of this working though. I have no idea honestly if that is a the truth.

He turned transgender because, well, Chris is pretty sexist. He thinks women are easy mode, plus he's always been obsessed with women. So to him, being a woman means he can end up being some other woman's trophy wife/housewife and get to play legos all day no problem. It has at least made him less homophobic towards gay men, at least.

It was both. He was vandalizing a display, the staff of the store, understandably not approving of it, told him to cut that out and that they would call the police. He (this part is on video) said "Don't call anyone" and stomped out, but pepper sprayed the guy with the phone on the way.

He then blamed Sega for making a bad sonic game for all of it because he just HAD to vandalize that horrible wrong-color'd arms sonic diplay.

Chris Chan is funniest when the trolls just sit back and let him do insane things all on his own like that. It baffles me that people tried for so long to troll him because even if you disregard morality, it's more entertaining to just watch him go!

Until I realized that this is just ruining another person's life for fun. I'm afraid of even saying that enjoying internet people's eccentricities is OK, because god knows that someone is going to take it too far and be an e-detective about it.

In regards to Chris Chan, just leave him alone, or donate money (to a hypothetical patreon) so he can live his life in peace.

The thing is the trolls have effectively left him alone at this point. A lot of the recent incidents -- him hitting the guy with his car, pepper-spraying the guy, etc -- have occurred without any provocation from them.

Ehh, some people (like Andrew Blake) create both internet and RL drama because they can't bear not to be the center of drama. They make big, dramatic "I only want a quiet life" posts, and then they go on to make more drama somewhere else. Whatever harm they do (and Blake has done plenty) it's not because of provocation from anyone else.

Okay, I only had a basic understanding of Chris-Chan that I got from skimming the ED article like... 7 years ago or something? Reading about what trolls did to him is really awful. That is straight up Stanford Prison Experiment levels of abuse right there.

Like, regardless of what Chris-Chan did, how do these people justify their actions? Just because you have the power to manipulate, abuse, and trick someone doesn't mean you should be allowed to.
