People blackmailed a troll I believe is mentally challenged* into videoing himself masturbating?

Yeah, that's pretty bad.

*Has this ever been confirmed? And is there anyone... helping him if that's the case? I always thought it sounded like the guy needed some serious help.

He's autistic. That and a combination of bad parenting.

People have actually tried helping him but he's usually pushed them away. Given that he's an adult I don't know what can be done at this point.

AYRT - Yeah, I did some research after commenting and saw. It doesn't seem he's mentally challenged, just has a lot of behavior problems. I must have misinterpreted something.

Autism isn't the same as "behaviour problems", though, it is about understanding in a sense: one might have a normal, even high paper IQ, but still struggle with aspects of adapting to life as lived by the majority.

Honestly, he never seemed to me to be autistic so much as he seemed to be mentally sick. Like, in desperate need of psychiatric care.

Have to say, as the parent of a man with HFA myself, he comes across as WAY autistic - but without the benefit of good support growing up.

I stand corrected then.

AYRT: only my personal impression, mind you. Something about the repetitive catchphrases, intense lack of usual social boundaries and problems with taking on board other people's perspective.

Even with a lot of guidance and support, it's been a huge struggle and, sadly, will continue to be for my son. And yes, people can be horrid about it. So although from what I hear this guy has messed up continually, people have trolled him mercilessly who should know better.

intense lack of usual social boundaries and problems with taking on board other people's perspective

These are also traits of FAS, tho' not the repetitive catchphrases so much. IDK anything about this kid/guy/man/situation, except it sounds highly unkosher all round. Your son is lucky to have you for a parent, at least!

It could be both mental illness and autism.

My big fear with Chris-Chan is that one day we're going to see his name on the evening news.

I agree with the other poster. Your son is lucky to have you.

DA - I looked him up, and he has been on the news for attacking a game store and apparently trying to carjack someone.

Welp, there we go. Looks like I was too late then.

Let's hope it doesn't get any worse than that.

Chris-chan has a hatred for people with "Aspergers" or anyone else with Autism, as he calls them, "Windows into hell". He also thinks his Autism is a 'get away with everything I do' free card. Chris may have Autism, but he is a shitty person despite that. He shouldn't have been trolled the way he has, however.

(Anonymous) 2015-08-07 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
AYRT - You're absolutely right.

(Anonymous) 2015-08-07 11:03 pm (UTC)(link)
He's autistic. Unfortunately not made any easier by having what is, by all accounts, a seriously dysfunctional family.
