Actually, it's recently been becoming more and more socially acceptable to like Taylor Swift. Maybe if we were still in her "Love Story" days then your reluctance would be a lot more warranted, but right now we're in a climate where it's probably more or less okay to admit that you dig t-swift

Yeah, she used to annoy the hell out of me. I never wished harm on her or anything stupid like that, but it bothered me that we're the same age, and she seemed to still be in high school in her songs, and was perpetuating a lot of tropes I really don't like. (Also, Love Story still annoys me, because no. Just no.)

But she's become really self-aware and showing quite a bit of maturity, and overall kindness and fun. I like her a lot now, and I don't think there's any shame/guilt in it. "Blank Space" is one of my favorite songs. She's grown up, and considering she got signed at 15, and has grown up in the limelight, she seems to be doing really well.

...I actually didn't realize "Blank Space" was a Taylor Swift song! I recently heard it for the first time in a Kingsman fanvid...a cover was used and I absolutely loved it. Very catchy song, nice lyrics; I'm impressed!

Won't lie, I'm not fond of Taylor's older stuff, but her more recent stuff (what I've heard of it, anyway) is quite good!

The original vid is pretty hilarious, and her being very self-aware and funny.

I haven't even watched it... Now that you've mentioned it I def will! Thanks for the suggestion, it sounds fun!

Lol it is not socially acceptable to like her in the least, a lot of people hate her/dislike her strongly and for good reason. She sucks at singing tbh, also she thinks she's all that is just a fucking sociopath, so good luck on trying to sell that as socially acceptable.

She wished her friend a happy birthday with a picture of mainly her boyfriend and with her friend in the background. She's got stupid beef with both Katy and Nicki, which is ridiculous, and the whole thing with Kanye that just happened.
