Re: Myers-Briggs test

Self-diagnosed personalities are so hilarious to me. I'm not saying Myers-Briggs is comparable to those Quizilla "What's Your Spirit Animal?" type quizzes. But survey says, people are really bad at reckoning their own personalities. People tend to think of themselves as more complicated than other people (which I suppose is fair) and tend to pick answers based on a personality type they think they have, or want to have (positive traits like thoughtfulness, self-awareness, patience, etc).

I'm not saying people's perceptions of themselves are always totally out of the ballpark or anything. Just that people's perceptions of themselves tend to be a bit biased, so to speak.
