I also wish fandom never migrated to tumblr. It's so easy for shit to start over there thanks to tags/search/anon being the way that they are.
I don't know why the new generation is so full of everything-shamers, but it really made fandom more of a chore than a place to relax.

I took for granted how fun fandoms could be pre-tumblr era.

Not only is it easy for shit to start, it's very easy for it to spread, before one even knows there's a problem or has a chance to defend themselves. The culture of doxxing also means that any kid with agrudge could ruin life of an innocent person very easily too, just because that person said something they didn't like.

I don't go on tumblr because it's too public and too stressful.
