Me too! Body hair isn't really my thing but I don't mind it on chest/legs and such, but underarm hair is just... no. Especially if it's so long you can see it peeking out even when the guy has his arms down. All I can think about is how damp and dirty it must get from sweat and deodorant and it grosses me out beyond belief.

Unfair? Yes. But it's an irrational squick.

See, I think it is totally fine to have preferences as long as you don't judge people who don't meet them. Men who judge women for not shaving (or vice versa) are a problem. People personally preferring their partner to have less body hair is not a problem.

na Totally. It's just that if your personal preferences align with the majority of your society, you can mistake preference for righteousness. Also, miss that preference can often be created or informed by society.

I doubt armpit hair revulsion is much of a thing in societies where shaving is unknown, but who knows, there's probably someone. At any rate, if you've got a revulsion there's often not much you can do about it except to remove the moral judgement and maybe expose yourself to positive examples.
