Oh dear gods. I am so sorry for your friend. I was there for mine through a lot of it, and helped keep her sane. But she didn't tell me about everything until after that roommate ditched her with no notice, and she couldn't afford rent on her own. (Thankfully, she was able to get help.) Said roommate would adopt characters from fiction, and her own OCs, into her head, and then talk as them, to my friend, and tell her horrible things, like (when she was very depressed) encouraging her to commit suicide because all of her characters (that she referred to as real people) thought she was a terrible person and deserved to die, etc. Just... let's put it that there are some people I would like to commit violence upon.

RPG Codex, good lord and lady. I think I've got a tab open for a couple things from that, but only very specific things. Someone did a Valdemar re-read (which I found via someone else doing a re-read of one of the books, and someone linking it in the comments) and the replies from that are decent, but I made the mistake of poking through the forum in general. That place is skeery.
