Although I've seen threads go haywire with wank for the same reason I saw other people's LJ comments sections go haywire with wank. At the same time, the wank doesn't leave here the way it sometimes ended up leaving LJ and going other places. I mean, you can still read about LJ wankstorms that happened ten years ago. Thank God unlike with twitter, most people didn't give their real names (and, frankly, most people didn't even know what the internet really was, so even if your name was released publicly, it was unlikely to do much damage).
