Re: FS, what are your thoughts on (so-called) animal experts on TV?

I don't watch them myself, at least not regularly. But I'd be skeptical of anyone who was ultimately in show business, which is what those people are.

Granted, from the episodes I've seen, the pet owners they "help" really are terrible. I'm sure they play it up for the cameras and such, but some of the basic techniques are probably useful to teach anyone viewing the programs.
