I wouldn't say I'm a snob, but I do not get why people have ships where the characters hate one another in canon, like Harry/Draco or Mohinder/Sylar. Especially the latter, tbh. (Old fandoms, I know.) How can you even imagine it, except for hatesex?

Do Harry and Draco really HATE hate each other though? It's not really like how Harry and Lord Voldemort hate each other, at least not for the first few books.

I could get on board the Mohinder/Sylar train just for the hotness. So there's probably some of that going on.

Firstly, my GOD is Sendhil Ramamurthy a beautiful man. That's all one needs, really.

Secondofly, there was a span of 2-3 episodes in season 1 when Mohinder and "Zane"/Sylar were on a roadtrip, and Mohinder had no idea who his companion really was but he liked who Sylar pretended to be. That, my friend, was a magical time for planting ideas into fic writers' heads. The best Sylar/Mohinder fic I ever read was written during that time -- http://archiveofourown.org/works/178250. because I'd say a majority of hate-pairings are actually implied in canon to like each other more than either of them would say? even Joker and Batman clearly can't live without each other.
