Isn't Frobin, like, REALLY popular?

Kinda but kinda not? Everyone is always talking about how it's the only strawhat ship that could become canon / makes the most sense, but there isn't much fic or fan-art for it. It's more... casual shipping is the word I guess? Like "oh they're really cute together" but that's about it.
Then again, I mostly interact with the Japanese side of the fandom so maybe it's more popular among Americans/Europeans?

((I do love the quality of the fan-art that exists tho))

I think OP's main point is that One Piece fandom is really relaxed when it comes to shipping?

As for Frobin, it got somewhat big after Enies Lobby but it feels to me as though it dropped popularity after the time-skip. I think people got turned off shipping Franky after seeing his new appearance.
