be honest

I feel really uncomfortable around guys, foreigners, and people with special needs.

Yeah, I feel awful about it, but I never really know what to do around special needs kids.

I try to act the way I usually do around people with special needs, but I'm not used to it so my attempts at acting natural end up consuming all my thought processes and I do a 360 to acting weird.

I'm not bigoted at all. The only group I hate is the Irish.

You know, I hear Dethtoll is half Irish. Just putting that out there for you...

I am a bit of a bigot as it concerns really religious people. I'm not about to bash anyone's religion to their face, but I find it really silly. So I tend to think less of people once I find out they're churchgoers.

I hate when religion comes up in conversation... it makes me so uncomfortable. I don't dislike religion in principal and I feel for the most part I'm good with people believing what they want, but there are some cases (the whole 'homosexuality is evil and gay people shouldn't be allowed to marry' argument) where it doesn't sit right with me. That's one topic I'd rather avoid.

I'm wary of religious people who follow my family's religion, and my family's religion's immediate religious family (ha). Nothing bad happened to me, but I fell out and they don't know.

No similar issue with other religions except for really, really religious people. But I avoid the topic in general.

I feel very uncomfortable around very religious people. Always have. I'm polite to them, but I'm always looking for an exit because I simply cannot deal with someone whose worldview is so fundamentally opposed to mine.

Is it just people who define their world around their religion or any religious person? Because I always have trouble with the notion that two people are fundamentally different in a way that another random two aren't just because one believes in a higher power and one doesn't. But I'm someone who thinks the rest of my opinions have more of an influence on my religious beliefs than the other way around, so it could be that I'm just weird.

A bit too bigoted? I never say or do anything harmful, at least I hope not. But I do sometimes catch myself thinking or feeling things that are wrong. Like someone else said, it's usually just a matter of feeling uncomfortable or not knowing how to act. The moment I become aware of it I internally scold myself to get over it and just act normal, but I never know if I've succeeded or if maybe the damage was done already.

I thought this said how "how bigfooted are you" and I was like, "I'm only like 40% Bigfoot."

I think I'm a lot less bigoted than most of the people I know. That's probably the best you can say, right?

I am repulsed by people who act obviously mentally disabled (I mean like autism, not a learning disability or anxiety or whatever). Part of that is because all throughout middle and high school, there was only one disability program, so I was always lumped in with those kids, and always worried that "normal" people (aka the people I actually wanted to hang out with) would see me with them, think I was one of them, and form preconceptions about me. So there's a reason for it. Not an excuse, but a reason.

The honest answer is I don't know.

And I don't think most people can accurately gauge how bigoted they are either

I'm SUPER bigoted.

I much prefer male characters to female ones.

Same with white characters over black characters.

Oh, and even though I recognize that black people have legit points, I don't give a shit about the movement. I mean, they're 100% right. I just don't care. I'm not gonna stomp into their movement and complain or anything, though.

Let's see…I don't give a fuck about trans people. I don't know why people get so upset about them. If people want to get surgery or be treated as a man or woman, go for it. It doesn't matter to me. I wouldn't date a trans person but besides that have at it. I just don't invest time into caring about the issue.

Mainly, my position can be boiled down to: I'm selfish and if it doesn't affect me, I don't care, even if I know and will concede that you're right to be upset.

Not bigoted but relatively cynical about race relations. And before you ask, it was living as a minority in a foreign country that gave me this outlook. I think while most people aren't actively racist or bigoted, there's always some artifact of ignorance that manages to sneak in somehow.

I just haven't found what mine is, perhaps.

Please, none of the really bad bigots are going to be honest here. In my experiences outside 'proud' bigots, people who are truly and disgustingly bigoted and likely to harm people with their bigotry will never admit to it. They'll always have a reason ("logical" is the most common non-religious excuse/justification for bigotry, in my experience).

The truly harmful bigots don't want to admit they're bigots because they are too convinced they're right or justified somehow.

I'm really uncomfortable around special people or people missing limbs/are severely disfigured. I just get really, really nervous about saying/doing something dumb. And then I feel dumb for feeling nervous about feeling dumb.

Kneejerk bigotry all up the wazoo, me. However, my saner mind prevails and is usually able to argue me down from all that old old shit I learnt growing up. Glad no one can read my mind. I'm interested in learning more about the world and humanity, and every time I do, my bigotry dies a lil more.

I don't like Baptists. I'm a Christian who doesn't like Baptists. You hear about some church being against something like Pokemon, or dancing, or celebrating Halloween or basically just against anything that is fun and it ends up being a Baptist church.

I've been to churches of other Christian denominations and they are singing, dancing, having Halloween carnivals, listening to rock music, playing D&D and doing other things the Baptists said are sinful. I know the other denominations can have their hang ups like being against gay marriage for example, but the Baptists are the worst about it.

I am 100% completely uncomfortable around homeless people, especially if they're outwardly mentally ill. I mean, I will go to ridiculous lengths to stay as far away from them as I can, and I will always vote against having their "legal" encampments anywhere near my neighborhood.

Logically, I know they have to live/sleep/etc. somewhere, and they won't just go away, but I hate the smell, I hate the yelling/talking at absolutely no one, I hate the drugs and the booze, I hate the garbage they leave everywhere, I hate the literal fucking human shit sitting in the bus stops, I hate everything about it. I know it's terrible of me, but I can't help it.

There are a few things I believe that would probably be considered racist (although I wouldn't consider them such).

But in terms of immediate instinctive prejudice towards some group of people, not very bigoted at all.
