Please, none of the really bad bigots are going to be honest here. In my experiences outside 'proud' bigots, people who are truly and disgustingly bigoted and likely to harm people with their bigotry will never admit to it. They'll always have a reason ("logical" is the most common non-religious excuse/justification for bigotry, in my experience).

The truly harmful bigots don't want to admit they're bigots because they are too convinced they're right or justified somehow.

Eh, I don't know, I CAN admit that I'm bigoted.

Like, I know I should feel bad about how my ancestors exploited the world. But given that it led to me having loads of awesome shit, I'm just grateful.

Granted, that's also because I think the rest of the world would have acted the same way if they'd developed technological superiority first. Oh well, luck of the draw is how I see it.

I guess what makes me really shitty is that I don't feel any impetus to right those wrongs. Sure, it's unfair, I'll definitely concede to that. But I'm selfish and I'd like to keep my shit, even at the expense of others.
