I'm not sure what one thing has to do with another, OP. Kilborne's tenure at The Daily Show hasn't vanished from distribution because of Jon Stewart taking over, it was never in wide distribution because it was broadcast in the mid to late 90s and topical news shows generally don't have the same staying power as say, a sitcom.
