How would you reboot a series that's so closely tied to an actor? Will Smith IS the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, even decades after the show ended.

Even today Will Smith gets still introduced as the Fresh Prince on TV, and he still raps the theme song during interviews (and the audience genuinely eats it up).

Shatner as Kirk was iconic, but Will Smith is the Fresh Prince in a way few actors embody their roles. I honestly don't think they could seperate the character from Will Smith, at least not as long as Will Smith is still kicking.

I mean Will IS the Fresh Prince, that was his rap name from before the TV show, which is where the TV show got its name from.
