The West Wing is a super polished modern series? Aside from the dated technology and fashion (some of CJ's outfits, I swear to god...), how do you figure?

The only traditionally handsome/pretty characters are Sam and Ainsley, Bartlet maybe if you push it (though he's too old to fall into the same category as CW characters). How are Leo, CJ, Toby or Josh polished pretty people? Even Donna's make-up was sometimes unfortunate.

Political Animals would fit better in that list, I'd think.
