To be honest it is kind of unreasonable to complain because someone else didn't write your favorite ship. It's understandable to be disappointed but to go on your blog and be like "wah why can't so and so write MY OTP?" is kinda childish. It's ridiculous to expect someone to write your ship because "it's better"

Now I will admit that the OP's motive of seeing this and avoiding it out of spite is..kinda petty. But at the end of the day OP can write any ship they want, and honestly it's not like they're doing something wrong by not writing the person's ship. It's not like they're doing rude things like posting hate in the ship's tag. They're just...not writing it. And really? That's not a big deal or hurting anyone.

I actually would not hold it against someone throwing a "wah why can't so and so write MY OTP?" tantrum on their own blog, because it's their own blog, and frankly I have done similar (I have bitched on my dA journal about disliking Kili/Tauriel and Solas). Just realise posting rants like that anywhere means it's out in the public eye, even if it's under a filter so only certain people can see it.

The part that I find questionable is complaining about a specific writer writing something they don't like, especially after leaving a positive review. It makes the review look fake, and the reviewer ignorant of just how public their posts really are.
