Spy movies and miniseries

NO LONG-RUNNING SERIES. SERIOUSLY. If it's a series, it must be short- no more than 30 episodes TOTAL for series.

I've watched a lot in the genre already (and can give recs/details if wanted), but I'm looking for things I've missed. My taste leans more to intrigue/mysteries than outright action, but I'm open to some other suggestions.

In regards to intrigue, I recommend the recent film adaptation of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy
In terms of action however, Kingsman: The Secret Service is tons of fun.

Yes, very familiar with TTSS already, although I strongly prefer the miniseries. Kingsman is also on my to-watch list. Thanks!

BBC's The Hour was pretty good. Two seasons, each six episodes I think. It's mostly the first season that deals with spies, the second one has intrigue but it's more organized crime if I recall correctly. It's about reporters for a news show set in the 1950s, so it's definitely more about the mystery than the action. But it does mean there will be plots that aren't very spy-like.

Watched The Hour when it aired, yep. On the one hand, I find Ben Wishaw extremely overrated and I never really engaged with his character. On the other, Romola Garai is everything. Loved Burn Gorman creeping in the first season. I would also have totally loved The Hour if it had been from the point of view of Anna Chancellor and Peter Capaldi's characters. They were great.

It's a documentary, but it's a fascinating one about a famous member of British intelligence who turned out to be a Soviet spy. The whole story is like the plot of a spy novel:

Just 6 episodes, and playing on my TV now for the 10th time - State of Play, the British press-politicians-police murder mystery and conspiracy! Literally everyone is in it (like, Billy Nighy is the extremely sarcastic editor in chief and a fetal James McAvoy plays his reporter son). It's just good, the characters feel very well-drawn, and even though a lot of time is spent on what turns out to be red-herrings (and, I must admit, an aggravating love triangle) it never feels like a waste of time.

Enemy of the State

Yah yah Banana Cornstarch w/e but it's really good don't let that put you off. It's genuinely pretty terrifying/interesting, even though some of the "hacking" is kind of LOL.

I know this is late, but are you talking about The Imitation Game, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, or possibly The Fifth Estate? Enemy of the State starred Will Smith and Gene Hackman.
