Well as an Aussie, I do know Benjamin Franklin is the guy famous for putting a key on a kite and flying it in a lightening storm... but that is about all.

b) he wanted the national bird of the USA to be the turkey
c) he's responsible for the foundation of the fire safety codes used in buildings to this day
