I don't think she's a fake geek. She played World of Warcraft enough to produce a series of skits making fun of and celebrating gamers. That in my book is enough for someone to be 'geeky'. Being into one fandom or one hobby is enough proof in my book.

Aside from that, I don't care for how she tries to play it up. I don't think she's a geek as much as a business woman and a typical actor. Kinda full of herself and very money and brand oriented. I don't think she really cares about the culture so much as how to make a buck off of it.
