N!S: I love this show and I've been a really big fan ever since S2.

Secret: I think a lot of the fans who have since abandoned the show are delusional. Not because I think it's bad that they outgrew it or lost interest, but because they act like the first two seasons were amazeballs and that only the later seasons have issues. The show has always relied on the strength of the actors to carry it, because frankly the writing and plotting is pretty average. Whenever they whine about characters being put in unnecessarily sexy situatiosn or the fact that a lot of the actors drop the show to move onto better projects, I want to ask them what they expected from an MTV remake of a cheesy 80s movie. To be perfectly honest, I found the first two seasons poorly paced, with plot stretched too thin so they drag out ~dramatic~ romantic moments. Yes, there are massive plot holes and Jeff Davies skips over a lot of heavy emotional fallout to keep the show moving forward but again, MTV show. You knew what you were getting into.

I think the only real noticible differece is that the new cast clearly doesn't have the same chemistry as the old, and it's showing up on screen. I miss the characters too, but some people think characters leaving is part of some evil conspiracy of Davies being terrible instead of actors trying to have careers.

B!S: I think most of this hate is thinly veiled "my fanon after S2 didn't come true because Derek isn't a growly Alpha, Stiles isn't pack mom and Scott is portrayed as the hero instead of a bumbling fool, therefore EVERYTHING IS TERRIBLE." I love those fics too, but come on!
