I'm not even kidding, I didn't post any secrets this last week but my first thought was Harry Hart as well. (The 'I don't normally view this character that way' doesn't fit either. From the second I saw this film I was lusting after Harry.)

TBH though, I have no reason to make Kingsman secrets because I've been so outspoken about loving it that everyone (who reads my comments, anyway) would automatically assume me. So no Kingsman secrets from me; I have nothing to hide and if I did I would be too embarrassed to make them.

I wish I was OP, though...I'd love to fuck Harry in a dream. (I'd settle for watching Harry and Eggsy have sex, but rarely do I get those type of dreams.)

And I just noticed that OP said nothing about sex... Welp, that says a lot about me.

Any recs for gen/adventure fic for this fandom?

I find this timing to be amusing considering I posted a recs list on tumblr earlier but all the fic was Harry/Eggsy. (IDK if you follow me or not...if you do and don't ship Harry/Eggsy, I officially apologize.)

There is like...no gen in this fandom. I'm not even exaggerating, the gen is almost completely nonexistent.

I do know of one fic, and it was lots of fun. Here.

It's a brief story about Eggsy and Roxy having the time of their lives on a mission. I won't say more, but I would love to see this in canon.

Haha, no, fortunately I didn't reach that point yet. I'm not even that sexually attracted to the character in question and don't really perceive them in such light, that's why I'm so scared of my subconscious going there...it would be extremely OOC and terribly awkward. I prefer to keep having dreams of having tea or browsing the antique bookstore with them, tbh.

You don't have to confirm or deny, but now I definitely could see this being about Finch. He's quite the bookish sort, and I'm pretty sure he's drank tea at some point in POI. (Maybe coffee on occasion? I can't remember the specifics.)

If that's the case, then he's not incapable of being physically (I don't think, anyway?) or romantically attracted (for sure) to someone, but I do understand why you might find imagining such a thing difficult. I love him and Reese together, but I've never given the physical aspect of their relationship much thought. (Even though I find Finch to be cute, and Reese to be gorgeous.)

Finch is not a terribly sexual character in my mind, so I could see your train of thought. (Though there would still be nothing shameful about imagining it!)

If not, well, I just went on this rant for no reason.

No, not with no reason. I guess my comments did make it rather obvious. Was thinking about being straightforward about it in the secret, but I was much too embarrassed, so I just picked a pic of the glasses that remind me of him (which is also why I bought them, even though I have too many pairs of glasses already).

Techically, I guess you're right. I think I feel that way because I don't think even dream!me is neither smart nor interesting enough for such a character to fall for me and so far the dreams have been pretty much in character with the two of us just being occasional, random friends. I also really love Finch and Reese together, but never really thought about the two getting it on, even though I can totally see them having feelings for each other. Feels a bit weird thinking about Finch in that way.

Ha, I knew it! I was almost certain it was Finch. I have to say I envy your dreams, OP, they sound pretty rad. And if they do head in some other direction, so what? It could be an interesting thing to explore. wouldn't worry about it being ooc since he did fall in love with Grace and she's a book-loving artist.besides it's your dream and all it matters is that you enjoy it.

There's no need to be ashamed or embarrassed, OP! I've definitely bought a couple of items of clothing because they reminded me of a specific character. Never anything quite so expensive as glasses, but again, I don't wear them; if I did, I would. (Plus, again...they're sexy glasses.)

And come on now, I'm sure you're a perfect nice and interesting person, and Finch is also an absolute sweetheart that would embrace just about anyone as a friend as long as they were a decent sort. He isn't the kind of character to be super judgmental, so I imagine you two would get along fine! There's nothing wrong with any of this even if your dreams take a steamy turn! While I don't think of Finch as a particularly sexual person, I don't think he would be against it either, especially if he cared deeply for the person.

Well, I guess I am sort of decent, lol. I just get really self-conscious when I have a a crush on someone (be it a RL crush or just fictional), thinking they'd never want to have anything to do with me, and I do that all the time even after being proven wrong several times. Sure makes daydreaming difficult, lol.

I am worried a little that I didn't categorize getting shot into a nightmare, to be honest, Finch being alright was all that mattered (plus, I also ended up being not dead, so that's good I guess).

I plan to, for sure. Can't really call it a kink, but I do seem to have a habit of crushing on men in glasses, so...there's that.

I also, being a damn fool that I am, actually ended up getting these exact same glasses, but I could merely hope to look only as half as good in them as he does. Still like them lots, though.

Finch has glasses that are pretty close to the ones in the picture. Narrower frames, though, maybe.

These are almost the exact same glasses (must be the angle that's throwing it off), although his frames are narrower...the shape is almost the same, though.

Glasses are all kinds of awesome. While I totally understand why actually needing them would be a pain in the ass, I can't say I don't appreciate the aesthetic. I hope you enjoy, if you get around to it! It's a fun film. (With lots of sexy people.)

Awww. Finch would love browsing books or talking about books for hours over tea. That's a lovely little mental image, and Finch deserves all the happiness and calm in the world, so such a meeting would practically be a kindness to him, lol.

After googling them, you're right, they ARE awfully similar. I didn't realize how much so. Damn, those are some nice glasses...
