Betty is basically the anime childhood friend character before anime was even a thing. Of course you project on her ♥

Although he's certainly not my favourite, I do like Archie. I kinda like to think that Betty and Veronica have just idealised him so much, but have yet to realise it and once they do they will finally have their korrasami ending. Not really his fault he's been waifu'd. About the only romance I really cheered for him in was with Cheryl Blossom, and that was in the Sharknado crossover.

Archie's character seemed to depend on the issue - same with Betty and Veronica, to be honest. (For all Veronica was supposed to be the shallow one, Betty was sometimes just as shallow.) Sometimes he seemed like he more or less meant well and Betty and Veronica couldn't take hints, putting him in impossible positions, other times he outright played them, except that was played for laughs.
