Thematically, I think season 5 is looking very different from 1-3, which were all very *someone wants revenge" with a side of "when is a thing not a thing." Season 5, however, is taking from the worst parts of season 4, in that it's "more villain-of-the-week involved with mysterious big bad."

And I think that's a little worse.
