I don't care whether you're ashamed or not. But leave underage kids alone.

Of course I'm not going to sleep with any under-age teenagers I find teenagers sexually attractive and I'm going to be open about that, but that doesn't make me a moron. I don't want to go to prison. However consenting of-age teens who I am in no privileged position over? I see no reason why I should feel bad about that.

Yes, I can. and a man will tend to be stronger and can overpower and rape a woman. this does not mean that every sex act between men and women has this power imbalance. why are you assuming I will use my worldly ways (which btw, I know 40 year olds who still live with their parents and have the emotional complexity of toddlers, should they be sheltered from making bad decisions and sleeping with somone more worldly than them?) to trick a teenager into bed?

well if we talk about a aspect of teenager itself rather then the person, and you must seek the quantity of it, unless you been super lucky. ever get bored?

Because, in the sweltering complexity of situations in everyday life, society necessarily has to draw the lines for what is legal and not legal, and what is generally right and not right, somewhere. And that will necessarily be imprecise, and there will always be edge cases, but that's the line.

18-year-olds ARE teenagers. Pretty sure the word only qualifies when you have a non-teenager involved.

18-year-olds are legally adults, and also teenagers by virtue of having the -teen in eighteen. But legally speaking, I think the law is going to go with the legal definition of 18. Unless your country has a different age of majority.

Many countries DO have a different age of majority. It's 20 in Japan.

There's no legal definition of "teenager". There's minor and adult. In the States, there are often "Romeo and Juliet" laws that would usually allow a two year different between the teenagers in question, that is, an 18-year-old could date a 16-year-old even if the age of consent of 18, and it would not be statutory rape.

NA Age of consent is 13 in Japan however different prefectures have different age gap laws.

That's the national age, but NO prefecture has an age of consent of 13. Each prefecture has its own consent laws, none of which are 13. And child porn (with real, non-anime kids) is still illegal. They do get away with some seedy "modeling" stuff where kids pose in swimsuits, which is disgusting still, but Japan does NOT allow porn with actors under the age of 18 legally.
