Really? But... why? Genuinely curious here, I remember really enjoying her stories.

It's the most ludicrously overwought, po-faced, pretentious, takes-itself-way-too-seriously, write-porn-like-the-universe-hangs-in-the-balance horseshit I've ever read in any fandom by a HUGE margin. A certain major series of hers also completely, meticulously erases every interesting, charming, event, trait, and motivation that defined the characters in canon as nothing but crap Watson made up to cover up the fact that it was all actually just pretentious, cookie-cutter, personality-less sex that could have occurred between any two random Victorian dudes.

I did, however, really enjoy "Twelfth Night."
