Realistically speaking, this is probably me as well. I don't want to die, and I have a decent fight reflex, but my survival skills (especially medical and finding food) are less than zero and I'm not good in groups at the best of times. If the outbreak was localised, I think I'd attempt to leave the area or hole up somewhere and wait for organised response. If that failed, or if the outbreak was large enough that there was no help coming and/or no safe space I'd be able to reach, then yeah, I'd probably kill myself. Better something relatively clean and abrupt than a long dwindling or something worse.
