Re: Transitions lenses: what do you think of them?

I don't mind them (my current glasses are Transitions), but they do have their issues, like the current fashion is for small lenses so on a whole, they don't dim much in the way of peripheral vision, and it can be a minor pain if you go directly from outside into a dimly lit room, as it takes a bit of time for them to fade clear again.

Most of the time I find myself thinking, when I go out on a sunny day, that I always forget to wear a hat and I really should try and remember one, since I now have one I know roughly the location of and know doesn't give me a headache from being too tight.

But I'd get transitions lenses again, when I eventually update my prescription.

We're not back to 70s and 80s huge, but larger frames are making a comeback.
