Considering you ID as gnc, this sounds less like transphobia and more like a bias to see sexual predators as male or straight male, and a bias to see sexual predators as not-female

I feel like a lot more people would doubt a dmab MTF sexual predator of being "really" female or "really" a lesbian than a dfab FTM sexual predator of being "really" male or gay...

Eh sorry if I'm explaining badly. OP is worried they're transphobic but I don't think it's transphobia, it's that we're all inclined to think sexual predator = male and vice versa

So when someone dmab is one, people are more likely to doubt their gnc status, as opposed to if someone dfab were one

Also, I presume you don't know the person you're speaking of IRL? Meaning that it's possible their internet identity is largely a false construct created for predatory purposes, and you wouldn't know if it was? Because I mean, if a person is living as an out trans person in real life, it's pretty unlikely they're going to make that up and voluntarily face transphobic hatred and prejudice, simply to work some kind of predatory head games on teenage girls. But constructing a fake trans identity on the internet is an entirely different matter.

This is the sort of thing that gives the republican trans-predator narratives too much weight with the general public. Really, the trans movement needs to quash these kinds of rumors and makes sure that when these exceptionally rare cases come up it is either covered up or a way is found to make the perp a fake tranny. We simply cannot risk the fragile gains the movement has made with stuff like this being talked about publicly. Please, keep quiet on stuff like this, even on limited exposure sites like this. It does far more harm than good to go public. Maybe in forty years, when trans people are a lot more accepted, we can be more open, until then keep it quiet and keep it within the trans community, please. You can only hurt innocent trans people across the nation with discussions like this.

Honestly, people have faked gender before to isolate victims and gain trust. Online SJ doesn't like to talk about it, because the conservative Christians like to say all LGBT people are pedophile/abusers/etc but it's come out with some of the predators infiltrating the community to try and get more victims.
