I understand where that thought is coming from, OP. I think if you had gone out on facebook or twitter or tumblr and started voicing those thoughts, that would be unjust and harmful. But I think it's perfectly reasonable for you to express them here.

Also, I presume you don't know the person you're speaking of IRL? Meaning that it's possible their internet identity is largely a false construct created for predatory purposes, and you wouldn't know if it was? Because I mean, if a person is living as an out trans person in real life, it's pretty unlikely they're going to make that up and voluntarily face transphobic hatred and prejudice, simply to work some kind of predatory head games on teenage girls. But constructing a fake trans identity on the internet is an entirely different matter.
