How I wish I could get that old Mel feeling back. I loved Maverick but have been unable to watch any of his old movies I used to enjoy. Why must he be such a vile human being?

Vintage Whoopi Goldberg will pretty much never not make me feel warm and nostalgic. I started watching and I feel so cozy every time she or LaVar Burton are onscreen.

I'm honestly not sure which of the two of these is worse. Goldburg hasn't actually done anything herself, she just supports horrible people that have. But Collins, at least, seems to honestly feel sorry and likely isn't going to do it again whereas Goldburg isn't even remotely sorry she supports such horrible people and automatically disbelieves victims until there is absolute proof (such as in the case of Cosby).

I'm with you on Guinan. I've got no patience for Whoopie these days, but not even she can take that away from me.

Whoopi gets a pass from me because she was defending a dear friend and even a role model. She was blinded by that so I forgive her. I didn't believe the accusations at first either but after a week or so, when the dam broke and all of those women came forward, I couldn't refuse them.

He was my hero and he betrayed me.
